Heather Meyer played collegiate softball for the University of Washington. In 1996 she received the honors of 1st Team All American, 1st Team All Pac 10 and pitched in the College World Series where the Huskies placed 2nd. Prior to that, Heather played for Antelope Valley Junior College where she was Southern California Pitcher of the Year in 1993 and California State Pitcher of the Year and Foothill Conference Pitcher of the Year in 1994. In 1994, she posted a 20-6 record with a 0.22 ERA.
From 2001-2005, Heather coached at California State University, Northridge as first assistant coach. Her primary responsibility was working with the Matador pitching staff and catchers. She also participated heavily in the recruiting process by watching player profile videos, attending 18u tournaments nationwide, answering emails to prospective student athletes and placing calls to contact high school players.
Heather currently volunteers at camps and clinics in the Southern California area and gives private pitching instruction to girls age 9-19. All of her graduated seniors are currently playing college softball.
